A Look Into the New School Year

We're off to a great start!!! Here's a look at the beginning of the 2013-14 school year!

Our Opening Day theme was "Saddle Up for Success" 

So we put our boots on and we're ready to "stomp" into a new year with our kiddos!

The second week of school, we went to Monkey Joe's and Saul Good for CBI to work on our motor and communication skills. The student's had a great time!

It has been really hot lately, so we went to McDonald's to practice ordering and following directions. The student's enjoyed the cool treat on a hot day!

New website added!

Check out a new website that has been added to the Scott County websites to the right. 

Scott County School Psychologist, Cristina Green's website School Psychologists Couch is a great website with lots of information! She has information about bulling, school safety, threat assessment, RTI and how to help kids succeed!

Holiday CBI

The students had a great visit to see Santa at the Lexington Green Mall.

They worked on their Santa letters all week looking for the perfect gift to write about!

After the mall, we went over to the Fayette Mall to window shop and eat at the food court. The student's had a great trip!

At the end of the week, we went with the other elementary schools to Louisville to see Lights under Louisville at the Mega Caverns. It was such a cool experience to everyone!

We have had a little friend come visit us. Meet Mandy :)

We are ready for the holidays in Ms. Kennedy classroom!!
