A visit to the Humane Society

We made a trip to the Scott County Humane Society for our 

CBI trip this week. 

The students learned about what is involved when you adopt a dog or a cat. Including feeding, bathing, exercising and loving their pet :)

It sure was hard to walk away empty handed with all these cute faces!

Scott County Fire Department

We had a great time learning about fire safety during fire prevention week last week. 

We went to the Scott County Fire Department training site to learn more about Fire Safety. The students had a great time climbing in the fire truck, watching fire safety videos, and seeing the firehouse!!

A Look Into the New School Year

We're off to a great start!!! Here's a look at the beginning of the 2013-14 school year!

Our Opening Day theme was "Saddle Up for Success" 

So we put our boots on and we're ready to "stomp" into a new year with our kiddos!

The second week of school, we went to Monkey Joe's and Saul Good for CBI to work on our motor and communication skills. The student's had a great time!

It has been really hot lately, so we went to McDonald's to practice ordering and following directions. The student's enjoyed the cool treat on a hot day!
